Our client was a patron at a shopping center in Boca Raton. She slipped and fell on yellow painted asphalt, just after a light rain. We discovered that the owner of the mall had failed to add friction additives to the paint, causing it to be slick like ice when it was wet. Our investigation found that tenants of the mall had previously requested that the paint be changed, but they were ignored. Our client suffered a severe arm fracture that resulted in permanent injuries.
