Hi, I’m Joe Nusbaum.
I have been a trial lawyer for over 15 years. I am also a Certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator and I have been acknowledged by my fellow lawyers for the quality of my work, and my ethical commitment to my clients.
From the first day that I began practicing law, I have dedicated myself to helping victims and their families who have suffered harm because of somebody else’s carelessness or recklessness. I wanted to be the voice for those people who needed to be heard.
I’ve achieved the highest rating given to a lawyer by Martindale Hubbell. I’ve also received the client distinction award by that publication, and have been recognized as a SuperLawyer by my fellow attorneys. Although I’m proud of these accomplishments, as well as the big verdicts and settlements that I have gotten for my clients over the years, I think the accomplishment that I am most proud of, was when both the Florida Bar and the Florida Supreme Court recognized me for the volunteer work that I do for children.
I truly believe that in order to be a really effective lawyer you have to develop a special bond with your client. A client doesn’t just become another case to me. They become part of our family. I pride myself on taking whatever time is needed to explain the process and help them understand what is going on at every stage of their case.
Doing battle with insurance companies is something that I do on a daily basis, but for most of my clients this is the first time that have had to deal with the stress, pain and emotion that is involved in bringing a claim for injuries.
